Samsung has announced its latest additions to the Galaxy A series with the introduction of the Galaxy A15 (already leaked before) and A15 5G, along with the Galaxy A25 5G. Contrary to expectations, Samsung opted to unveil these devices ahead of 2024.
The Galaxy A15 is available in both 4G and 5G variants, with shared core specifications (except for the chipsets); Meanwhile, the Galaxy A25 5G stands out with more advanced cameras and Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1280 chipset.
Yay, AMOLED Displays!
All three smartphones feature 6.5-inch Super AMOLED displays boasting FHD+ resolution and Infinity-U notch cutouts — The A15 models offer a 90Hz refresh rate, while the A25 boasts a higher 120Hz panel, capable of reaching up to 1,000 nits brightness compared to the A15’s 800 nits.
The Galaxy A15 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 chip, coupled with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB, expandable via a microSD card slot.
The A15 5G, on the other hand, incorporates the Dimensity 6100+ chip, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage, also expandable. The Galaxy A25 5G utilizes the Exynos 1280 chip, offering 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB expandable storage.

Cameras
Samsung has implemented a 13MP front-facing camera on all three devices, along with its new Key Island design featuring a convex shape around the power and volume keys.
In terms of cameras, the A15 models feature a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. The A25 5G boasts a 50MP main shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera.
Android 14 and 5,000 mAh Battery
All three devices run on One UI 6.0 based on Android 14 and come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W charging.
Pricing and Availability
Color options for the Galaxy A15 include Yellow, Fantasy Blue, Optimistic Blue, and Black. The Galaxy A15 4G starts at VND 4,990,000 (~$205), the Galaxy A15 5G is priced at VND 6,290,000 (~$260), and the Galaxy A25 5G starts from VND 6,590,000 (~$271). Open sales in Vietnam are scheduled to begin on December 16, with expectations for a broader market launch in the following weeks.
