Recent developments reaffirm a design change for the upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Initial fan-made renders hinted at this change, and further evidence supports this claim.
Thinborne, a US-based case manufacturer, recently shared a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) model of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 on social media, reinforcing the notion that the new device will feature a more angular design compared to its predecessor.
Specifically, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to adopt flatter surfaces, sharper edges, and even more pronounced corners than the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

As for its release, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is anticipated to be officially unveiled in early July at Samsung’s next Unpacked event. This event is likely to take place in Paris, just ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games.
Samsung has been consistently refining the exterior design of its Galaxy Z Fold series with each iteration. Unofficial renders suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will continue this trend, potentially building upon the design language introduced with the Z Fold 3 (check out our review here) but with an emphasis on flat surfaces and sharp corners.
