If you love simple recipes like this you will also love these delicious Biscuit Sticky Buns. They are so good and take about 10 minutes to put together.
❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
We love how easy this recipe is, only a few ingredients and you can get them in the oven in about 10 minutes. These are perfect for a weekend morning and kids love them too. You can easily double this recipe. We make them in an 10 inch iron skillet but they will work in just about any dish (9X9 is a good option) but you want them to go in close together and they will puff up, so you will need room.
CANNED BISCUITS WITH BUTTER
This recipe is made with Grands Butter Biscuits, (8 come in the tube of biscuits) the butter is IN the biscuits. You separate each biscuit to make 2 biscuits (they will separate pretty easily), so this will 16 biscuits. People always ask from the photos what the specks of yellow is in the uncooked biscuit, it is the butter. You could use other grand biscuits and this recipe will still be delicious.
⭐TIP
We use cinnamon and sugar on the inside of each biscuit with the cream cheese. To make it easier you can buy the cinnamon and sugar that is already combined. I also think its easier to cut the cream cheese if it’s at room temperature.

STORING, REHEATING & SERVING SIZE
We store these in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat them in the microwave. This makes 16 biscuits, about 6-8 servings.
Butter Pecan Cheesecake Biscuits
These Butter Pecan Cheesecake Biscuits are so simple to make and a wonderful treat on a weekend morning! These biscuits come together really quickly!
- 1 16.3 ounce Grands Butter Pillsbury Biscuits
- 2-3 ounces of cream cheese
- 1/2 cup of butter – melted
- 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- Powdered Glaze
- 1 cup white powdered sugar
- 3 to 4 tablespoons milk I use 2%
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
-
Preheat oven to 350. Spray a cast iron skillet with cooking spray. Separate each biscuit to make two biscuits from one. Then pat then down to make them a little more flat. Cut an inch size piece of the cream cheese and put in the biscuit, then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and roll into a ball. Repeat this with each biscuit and put them into your cast iron skillet.
-
Once all your biscuits are rolled into balls and in the skillet, in a separate bowl combine melted butter, brown sugar and pecans and stir together. Pour over the biscuits in the skillet. If you have any leftover cinnamon and sugar you can also sprinkle that on top too.
-
Cook for 28-35 minutes or until biscuits are done. I tested my biscuits with a knife and they were done around 28 minutes.
